CONNECTING THROUGH COMMUNITY OUTREACH

SHELTER ADOPTION
Calloway provides gifts of love to two shelters in Arlington County – Doorways for Women and Children and Bridges to Independence. Doorways assists women and children affected by domestic violence, and Bridges to Independence aids families that are faced with homelessness to find suitable employment and housing. This month, we are collecting toiletries for our friends at the neighboring shelter.

THANKSGIVING BLESSINGS
Calloway provided over two hundred fifty ($250) worth of food and donations for Bridges to Independence, the agency that helps families revive from homelessness! Pictured above is our Calloway representative, CC Clark, and the Director of Operations at Bridges to Independence.

CHRISTMAS ADOPTED FAMILIES
This Christmas, we adopted two (2) families. One family is experiencing homelessness and in the program at Bridges to Independence. The second family are domestic violence survivors receiving assistance from Doorways for Women and Children. The Calloway Church family blessed these twelve persons, and demonstrated the love of Jesus. Pictured above are the representatives of these organizations receiving gifts and gift cards for the families.
